OUTSTANDING CED ALUMNI 2009

This is the highest award bestowed by the College of Education (CED) to its graduates who have made significant contribution to the society and the community as a teacher.

In celebration of its Silver Founding Anniversary, the College of Education for the first time will award trophies to those who will be selected in the search for The Outstanding CED Alumni, in recognition of their exemplary contribution to their respective field in the local, national, or international community and for their remarkable and selfless services to the humanity.

The awarding and recognition will be held during the Silver Anniversary Program. This year, a maximum of ten individuals will have the chance to receive the award upon meeting the specified criteria.

You may fit this description yourself or maybe you know someone else who does. By making nominations for these awards, you will be able to help our remarkable CED alumni shine.

ABOUT THE SEARCH
The search bestows honor to all CED alumni who:
1. has demonstrated vigor and dedication in the teaching profession;
2. has exemplary contributions to the society; and
2. has achieved outstanding recognition from the community.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

The search is open to all living alumni of CED, 王中王六合彩特码-IIT.

THE JUDGES

The nominees will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the Silver Anniversary Celebration Alumni Committee. The nominees will be evaluated through document review, validation through site visit, personal/peer interview and by using the following set of criteria.

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION

1. Awards and Recognitions Received --------------------------------- 40%
(International, National, Regional, Local)
2. Seminars, Trainings and Workshops Attended----------------------30%
(International, National, Regional, Local)
3. Teaching Efficiency Rating and its equivalent ---------------------10%
4. Number of Years in the Teaching Profession -----------------------10%
5. Publication----------------------------------------------------------------10%

NOMINATION RULES AND AWARD GUIDELINES

2. Only alumnus/alumna of CED can make nominations but he/she is strictly not allowed to nominate himself/herself.
3. Nomination shall contain the following:

vi. Please write the nominee's outstanding contribution to his/her field or the community or your reason for nomination/recommendation in at least five sentences

Required Documents:
a. Curriculum Vitae
b. Awards and Credentials (certificates of supporting evidences)
c. ID/Photo

The validity of the nomination shall be determined by the Silver Anniversary Celebration Alumni Committee.

4. Deadline of nomination and submission of documents is on January 15, 2010.
5. The awarding ceremony will be on January 23, 2010 during the CED Silver Anniversary Program.
