Project Title: Synthesis of Agricultural Waste-Derived Ceramic Porous Silicate Particles

Duration: 11 months 

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

• BSc Ceramic Engineering with emphasis in the field of ceramics processing, inorganic synthesis, cement science and ceramic fabrication
• Active paper or poster presentation record.
• Ability to address technical and conceptual aspects of ceramics.
• Demonstrate or has leadership experience in an organization for future engagement with the LGU
• Can communicate with stakeholders during community activities (LGU) and individual student mentoring
• Knowledge of diverse processes and their application to ceramic production.
• Knowledge of contemporary practices and theory in ceramics and cement science
• Work experience on current health and safety standards in the ceramic laboratory.
• Ability to efficiently organize, maintain, and manage all needs for the ceramic laboratory.
• Performs laboratory experiments,
• Makes research reports on daily basis,
• Assists in writing research reports, presentations and publications,
• Conducts daily maintenance of laboratory equipment,
• Ensures that all laboratory equipment are operational,
• Maintains proper storage of tools and laboratory supplies,
• Assists in the conduct of laboratory supplies inventory,
• Other tasks pertinent to the success of the research.
