Project Title: Effect of the phytoremediation potential of Brassica juncea L. on nematode communities and leaf litter decomposition in a mercury-contaminated soil

Duration: 11 months

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Soil collection during sampling campaigns
• Maintain nematode cultures on agar plates
• Count, pick, fix, mount and identify nematodes
• Assist undergraduate and graduate students
• Maintain orderliness in the laboratory
• Make an inventory of the chemicals and equipment at least once a month
• Ensure that laboratory rules are observed by the laboratory members
• Process the necessary documents/paperwork’s related to the research project
• Perform tasks that may be assigned by the project leader
