SYSNET ADMINISTRATOR
General Description:
In-charge in the Deployment, maintenance and
management of the company鈥檚 network equipment and facilities while
providing an exceptional technical support on all software & hardware
related problems.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College Degree in
Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering/ ECE (Min.
1 year experience as Systems or Network Administrator)
- Knowledgeable in Mikrotik and Cisco routers
- Knowledgeable in various Operating Systems especially Windows and
Linux
- Knowledgeable in structured cabling
- Knowledgeable in Thunderbird, Incredimail and MS Outlook mail
clients
- Knowledgeable in both hardware and software troubleshooting.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Network facility and equipment provisioning and
decommissioning
- Network health and status monitoring to ensure that all servers and
network equipment are running on an acceptable performance level.
- Deployment and reinstallation of operating system and work related
software
- Make recommendation on the replacement, upgrade and decommissioning
of an equipment such as network access storage and other computer
peripherals
- Perform backup and restoration of all company data, and making sure
that the generated backup is 100% reliable
- User account management 鈥� create, delete and disable user and
email accounts
- Submission of reports detailing the condition and status of all
servers and network on a bi-monthly basis
- Setting up of the network perimeter defense including maintenance
and management
Other Responsibilities:
- To keep the MIS office uncluttered and conducive for work.
