The Junior Web Developer鈥檚 main function is to develop web-based applications that will serve as workforce multiplier thus maximizing the full potential of every available human resource and provide the necessary training to the end-user to make sure that the software developed is being used efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or ECE.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in web-based application development using LAMP Technology.
- Minimum of six months experience on Agile software development methodology.
- Has working knowledge on web development process.
- Knowledgeable on various web-based control panel such as: cpanel, plesk, directadmin and hsphere
- Knowledgeable in PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, FTP and MySQL
- Knowledgeable on at least one PHP framework preferably CakePHP
- Knowledgeable on at least one Javascript Framework preferably jQuery
- Knowledgeable on the following CMS and Blogging platform: Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver or Eclipse IDE
- Working knowledge in versioning and bug tracking systems such as CVS, SVN, Bugzilla and Trac
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
