Responsibilities:
Brief Description of Duties/Key Results to be Achieved:

• Test the latest version of Delta V Digital Process Control System/DCS

- Safety Instrumented System
- HART protocol & Wireless HART
- Foundation Fiedbus
- Profibus DP
- DeviceNet
- Asi-bus
• Automate Tests using Test Partner
• Work effectively in a multi-site, multi-cultural organization.

Requirements: Experience / Skills:
• BS Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Communications or other related disciplines)
• Eye for detail and natural curiosity
• Analytical ability and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in DCS /PLC/SCADA/HMI programming

Nice to Have:
•Experience in software testing

ASSET OPTIMIZATION
Technical Support Manager (1)


Responsibilities:

1. The AO Technical Support Manager will be responsible for managing the tech support operations aimed at providing excellent post-sales support to AO customers worldwide.
2. The Technical Support Manager will supervise 16 technical support engineers who are providing customers with expert technical knowledge via phone and email on PlantWeb and Asset Optimization products.
3. Coordination and cooperation will be required with Development, Marketing, Quality and other Emerson customer product problems.
4. The position will be to ensure that the engineers are providing first rate technical support, and that call closure rates and customer satisfaction related to the technical support remains at high levels.
5. The candidate should be technically skilled enough to be able to also provide support him/herself and be able to understand product concerns or problems.
6. The position will require performing employee reviews, including quarterly assessment of performance and also annual reviews. In addition this supervisor is expected to provide mentoring and discussions and coordination of training and employee development on a continuous basis

Requirements:
• 5 – 7 years of supervisory experience
• 5 – 7 years of experience managing a call support organization
• 2 – 3 years of experience in process control is highly desirable
• Detailed knowledge of process control from at least one target industry – Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining is highly desirable. Pharmaceutical, or other fluid process control industries
• Experience with computer networking and basic hardware (Ethernet), serial interfaces, routers, hubs etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, including system setup, application installation and computer administration
• Excellent troubleshooting and process for problem-solving skills
• Excellent English speaking skills
• Be willing to work flexible hours to ensure that the technical support engineers are providing high quality
• Be wiling to work flexible hours to ensure that the technical support engineers are providing high quality 24*7 support.
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other technical degrees with the appropriate experience.
