王中王六合彩特码 (王中王六合彩特码-IIT) reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration by renewing a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. This renewal, facilitated through the Department of Filipino and Other Languages in partnership with the Center for Language Studies, and the Mindanao Heritage and Indigenous Research Center, under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise, took place on January 10 at the Office of the Chancellor.

The mutual agreement outlined collaborative efforts between the two institutions, primarily focusing on joint conferences. Of note is the upcoming 2nd International Conference on the Teaching of Filipino as a Second/Heritage Language, scheduled to take place online via Zoom.

This conference aims to disseminate and enhance education and knowledge related to the Filipino language and studies on both national and international platforms. It seeks to explore the vital role of language as a conduit for culture, history, and traditions, contributing to the uniqueness of the Filipino identity.

According to the collaborators, the conference offers a platform for scholars, practitioners, researchers, language specialists, and enthusiasts to share insights on recent advancements and engage in dialogues related to linguistic education and its unexplored connections to heritage studies. As a learning forum, various studies will delve into the intricate perspectives and relationships between language and heritage within a globalized context.

The 2nd International Conference hopes to have discussions on current trends, issues, and challenges in the teaching of Filipino as a Second/Heritage Language to both Filipino and non-Filipino students; set the agenda for the teaching and learning of Filipino as a Second/Heritage Language, laying the foundation for future research, policies, and practices; and establish a network of academics, teachers, scholars, linguists, advocates, officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders dedicated to advancing the field of teaching Filipino as a Second/Heritage Language.

During the ceremony, Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan emphasized the significance of continuing such collaborations, reflecting the university's commitment to language and heritage. The renewal of this partnership underscores the institution's dedication to fostering linguistic and cultural understanding, with aspirations for future expansion.
