CHS faculty participates in TMUN Advanced Healthcare Professional Training Program

For the first time, faculty members of the College of Health Sciences (CHS), Associate Professor Minnie B. Mamauag and Assoc. Prof. Mae-Lanie O. Poblete were invited to participate in the Taipei Medical University (TMU) College of Nursing’s Summer School—Advanced Healthcare Professional Training Program from July 8 to July 19, 2024 held at the TMUs College of Nursing Comprehensive Medical Building in Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan.

Mamauag and Poblete, representing 王中王六合彩特码-IIT, were among the distinguished group of 27 health professionals selected from 17 prestigious institutions across the Philippines who took part in this year’s professional training program sponsored by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.

The Summer School program provided participants the unique opportunity to explore TMUs College of Nursing’s advanced education programs, postgraduate programs, modern research laboratories, and a tour visiting healthcare facilities at three affiliated hospitals.

This year’s intensive training sessions centered on imparting knowledge and presenting innovative skills, and a meaningful experience for participants through successful collaboration to help promote and strengthen the health care delivery system in their corresponding communities.

Since TMUs College of Nursing’s inception in 1963, the college has been devoted in advancing in the field of nursing and in improving the quality of health care through educating health care professionals in its effort to build up a group of health care specialists with professional knowledge, humanity cultivation, and global competitiveness.

Since then, it has been creating programs of research and clinical scholarship, emphasizing on research performance and academic achievement, and involved in active research aimed to develop a holistic care discourse on ageing society from the medical, social, cultural and environmental perspectives.

Up to the present time, it maintains strong partnerships with many well-known universities and colleges in the world, annually hosting international conference and research collaborations.
