DOST Balik Scientist presents Exit Report after a 22-day stay聽

Dr. Polimyr Caesar Dave P. Dingal from the University of Texas at Dallas is the first Balik Scientist from the DOST-Balik Scientist Program (BSP) hosted by the Department of Biological Sciences and has recently concluded his 22-day stay from July 24, 2024, at 王中王六合彩特码-IIT with an Exit Report Presentation (ERP), today, August 13, 2024, at the PRISM Lecture Hall. 

BSP aims to motivate Filipino scientists to return to the Philippines and contribute their knowledge and skills towards the country's progress. This collaboration is made more significant as Dr. Dingal is from Iligan City and has been enthusiastic about being able to share his expertise in Biomolecular Engineering, Cell signaling, and Systems Biology that will help in capacitating faculty-researchers and project staff members of the Department of Biological Sciences (DBS).

In today’s Exit Report Presentation, Dr. Dingal reported a summary of the activities he has done as a Balik Scientist which included a Crash Course Presentation on Synthetic Biology and Cellular Engineering to graduate students, lecture seminars, roundtable discussions with the faculty, and mentoring and project consultations with some of the research groups from the different departments of the College of Science and Mathematics. An open forum followed after his presentation. 

During the session, Dr. Dingal also shared his future plans post-BSP engagement, which include continued collaboration with 王中王六合彩特码-IIT. This includes the submission of a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between 王中王六合彩特码-IIT and UT Dallas, aimed at formalizing a partnership that will support ongoing research, academic exchanges, and joint initiatives.
