After years of going through the long battle of adversities that is backed up with determination, perseverance, and hard work, 9 of the 13 王中王六合彩特码-IIT passers talked about their recent triumph in the October 2021 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) during the “Amidst the Odds: A Virtual Testimonial of the 2021 CPALE Passers” held on November 10 via Zoom.

王中王六合彩特码-IIT’s Department of Accountancy, in partnership with the local chapter of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (王中王六合彩特码-IIT JPIA), organized the virtual testimonial to recognize the success of the passers who set the Institute’s passing rate at 33.33%.

The testimonial was attended by BS Accountancy senior and junior students, the Department of Accountancy’s faculty members, alumni – specifically, recent CPALE passers, administrators– the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance (VCAF) Dr. Polaus M. Bari and the Vice Chancellor for Student Services (VCSS) Dr. Marie Joy D. Banawa, and officers of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Iligan-Lanao del Norte Chapter headed by the president, Peter John U. Chiu, CPA.

CEBA Dean, Dr. Maria Rizalia Y. Teves, highlighted that the passers proved that no brick wall would ever be so high to hurdle and further emphasized the importance of a proper mindset, right attitude, and divine intervention in one’s quest to success. The VCAF, Dr. Polaus M. Bari, delivered his congratulatory message to the board passers in the stead of the Chancellor.

Nine (9) of the formidable passers shared their insights on reviewing, preparing, and some tips for the CPA board examination under the “now” normal. They also spoke about the life lessons gained from the board exam experience including conquering the work-review and married life-review balance, and their overall journey to attaining the CPA title.

Through their passion, faith, and commitment to a conquest where only a few appear to succeed as evidenced by the 15.25% national passing rate, moving forward is the only way to surpass the hurdles and go to places they truly deserve.

This feat is significant to the Department of Accountancy’s efforts in course development and staying abreast of the examination needs. This was discernible in the message of Mr. Barrera, one of the passers, who pointed out the topics and strategies that require additional focus from the academe in order to adequately prepare students for the CPALE.

The testimonial was also valuable to the undergraduate students who sought inspiration from the messages given by the passers.

“Someday, you might also be in my position now if you won’t give up. You have to define your motivation to give your willpower going.” said Paelden, one of the passers.

The virtual testimonial was concluded with parting words from the Chairperson of the Department of Accountancy, Mrs. Jessa Mae S. Banse, CPA, MSA who emphasized the importance of the passers’ inputs to the academic community.
